White Turtlehead

Perennial, colony forming herb with an erect stem lined with opposite, lance-shaped, dark green leaves and topped with tubular flowers. The flowers are white to pinkish, tubular, two-lipped flowers borne in a cluster atop the stem and are followed by a brown, papery seed capsule. Thrives in moist partial shade, but may become leggy and require support in deep shade.
